Demoman is pretty much fine, if you think he's OP you don't understand the game. Heavy, on the other hand, is too slow for 5CP, CTF, or KotH to be useful on offense.

CTF is the biggest, most popular mode in the game. But due to the way TF2's classes are balanced towards defense, it's not an actually playable game mode. This means that many of us simply untick 2fort and Turbine from our map selections when we want to play the game properly.

It doesn't have to be that way. In TFC, 2fort was a main map played by serious players. If we fix the offensive/defensive balance, it can be that way again. CTF can be more than a total joke.

Besides, I'm not suggesting changes to Medic/Pyro/Spy/Heavy/Engineer solely because of 5CP. It's also because of CTF, Koth, SD, RD, and even Territorial Control. Heavy and Engineer's current state of being skewed to defense negatively effects all these game modes, in addition to 5CP. All of these game modes would be more enjoyable if the offensive/defensive balance in TF2 was fixed. We wouldn't have to untick CTF from our map lineup any more if we wanted to play an actual game.

Besides medic having way too much impact in any game, being it casual or ranked (so much he needs some one protecting him at all times in 6s), some of the unlocks being a bit broken i believe the game just needs to rework the pyro to have a better role than the occasional spy checker anymore reliable damage since his flamethrower is even affected by ping.

Besides that the other classes are fire and suit their roles.

I Hope you are not talking about 6s though since very few people play that fucking mode that doesn't suit more than half of the maps the game is designed around.

Spy does not. He's basically a worse Sniper. Pretty much everything Spy can do, Sniper does better.
When you want to assassinate an important enemy team member who do you pick?
Spy who has to run all the way up to them, taking about 10-30 seconds, and uncloaking behind them and MAYBE getting a kill, and almost certainly dying afterwards?
Or Sniper, who can click on their head from the other side of the map, taking 3.3 seconds tops, and remains in complete safety the entire time?

Currently the only reason for Spy to exist is if Sniper can't reach someone for whatever reason, which is not a common situation, since most objectives are in an exposed location.

Spy needs more justification to exist and to be differentiated from Sniper. He needs a support ability that lets him sabotage the enemy team, other than just the Sapper (which is totally useless when an Engineer isn't present).

Dead Ringer is actually worse than IW against competent players since you sacrifice the element of surprise meaning the enemy never presents their back to you, and Sniper doesn't need to "get the fuck out and back again" because he's already out.

How does Spy ""counter"" Engie exactly? He has no more advantage vs. Engie than any other class does except Scout and maybe Medic.
Sapper only exists because without it, the Spy would be totally useless against Sentries. Even with Sapper, the Spy, in order to damage a Sentry, has to walk right up to it and (at melee range) place a loud disabler on it that alerts the Engineer. The Engineer can shoot him on approach or hit him with the Wrench while he's busy holding the Sapper, and can easily destroy the Sapper before it makes much of an impact.
Compare this to Demoman, the class who actually counters Engineer. He can put 8 stickies under a Sentry from the other side of a wall and the Engie is forced to evacuate his nest or watch it die. Demo can eliminate manned Sentry nests without putting himself at risk from them. Spy cannot. Spy is not an Engineer "counter" as a result.
I know my TF2 anon, take it on my word, Sniper does Spy's job better the majority of the time.

VAC is an intentionally poor anti-cheat. They make it not ban people immediately, so they don't know what cheat triggers it, but then cheaters can easily keep cheating, or just make a new account because it's F2P. TF2 isn't going to get a better anti-cheat, the cheats are designed to protect them from votekick, and the cheats are pretty easy to get (and updates are so rare that the cheats never break).
