Is Life is Strange the best adventure game of the last five years?

I'd rate anything with different dialogue much higher. I don't know how any of you did more than half an episode of Californian teenager speak written by a man in his thirties.

It's probably the worst considering it;s the same old shit as any other one of them but with considerably worse writing. It also wastes its time reversal mechanic which was the only interesting thing about it, in both story and gameplay. Telltale games and the like may not have anything interesting going on with the gameplay, but at least they don't build you up to knock you down like LiS does. As far as I'm concerned, LiS is one of the worst games to come out in a long, long time, excluding shitty indie games that just don't work.

finished 1st episode but i was too bored to continue holding the left stick jus so i can go to the next cinematic

For what it's worth, it gets a lot better after episode one.
It's all of the buildup without any of the payoff.
The game sort of hits the pedal halfway through episode two and doesn't let until the credits.

It was really okay, really pulls the nostalgic autumn afternoon feels strings, especially for feels I never had. I didn't pay for it tho, a friend bought it for me so he could watch me stream it and rage.
