MvCI looks alright, shit art direction aside.
DBFZ looks way better, although the choppy animation it & Xrd have will always bug me (and their excuse about "emulating 2D fighters" is unconvincing when every 2D fighter released over the past 10-15 years animates better)

Most of their 2D fighters animate badly too (and that's what their emulating in Xrd), the impressive thing about their spritework was mainly just how big the sprites were (and contrary to common belief they trace over 3D models too just like most of the other devs). The Persona 4 fighters were the closest they got to doing it well.
