Drakengard games are more black comedies than anything, i wouldn't call them edgy because author is completely self-aware and just likes to shit on some japanese cliches and character archetypes like "weak waifu character with no personality of her own".

Slaughtering has never been so monotonous.
Dragon sections were actually pretty fun though people sleep on them.

Edgy try hard shit makes a game worse but Drakngard also had shit gameplay so that just made it's status as a shit game solidified
