Risky's more fun to play as, but shit I would've preferred brand new stages or variations of Shantae's. $10 for essentially New Game Plus kinda sucks.

Risky is fun but it's still the same fucking stages and bosses that the main game already forces you to backtrack through way too much and now you're doing it again but with Risky. Some stupid fluff upgrades too like needing to waste upgrades on the damn hat just to float further.

My main problem with it is it took them over half a fucking year to "make" this and it's barebones as fuck with no actual new content other than playing as Risky. This laziness shouldn't have taken this long to make.

So what is this thing? I played a bit of Half-Genie, and it was pretty good. It was closer to the original than fuckin' Risky's Revenge, but I wish they'd bring it back to the roots.
