I'll probably buy it too. I spent fifty hours in DH2 doing a shitload of different runs without even TOUCHING Emily's side, playing with the performance problems (which are thankfully kind of fixed now, it helped I got a 1060 at some point) purely because I wanted to keep going, and I'm interested to see how this goes.

I never saw it as the game punishing you for going full assassin. If anything, it feels like a reward. The levels change and get more enemies and it becomes funner to go around killing everything. The endings are way bleaker, sure, but they're still "good" endings. You still prevail in the end.

I especially like in Dishonored 1 how the last level is actually so much more miserable if you played it through the High Chaos route. It's fucking awesome.
