Wow Sega. Just Wow. This is such a disappointment. After seeing the amazing gameplay, graphics and music over the past few weeks, I couldn't have been more excited for Sonic Mania!

Opening up the game was a totally different story though. First I was greeted by DENUVO DRM via a firewall trigger. Then once I got into the game, toggling full screen would cause the game to crash. Great. There are also other users commenting on issues with DirectInput and other graphical glitches. Did I mention the game is locked at 60fps too?

Considering this was delayed by two weeks for the PC release, I was hoping the launch would be bug free. But the bugs and DENUVO have left a bad taste in my mouth.

Lets take a minute to appreciate this hot mess and why it's bad. Just a heads up, it's the sum of the parts rather than one single issue.

>Game gets leaked on the Switch.
>Day after the leak (and 4 days before launch) the game gets delayed for PC only.

So it turns out the game was not only delayed to block piratefags, but also they lied (because it wasn't obvious enough the first time) when they said they were optimizing the thing since it's still running like shit.
