Because they expect to be thanked and sucked off for doing their job and if you don't they pull the 'waaah i just won't heal you and let you die' ''''power'''' play. They're usually women who have a partner in the guild somewhere and are expected everything on the basis that they can do their fucking job and if you call them on their shit they go "WELL ME AND [insert actual important member of the guild] WILL FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO" which has happened so many times with me.

Healers are self-entitled because they believe that they are doing something difficult and have a fake belief they are either the only ones who can do said job or over-exaggerate their importance to an obnoxious degree. I want a real time strategy game for the 3DS which is exclusively single player and it's basically "Healslut: the game".
If you don't heal your team-mates at all, then every single battle will be a lost cause. You will learn new skills and commands for team-mates and based on how much sympathy you get, they will listen to you or not.
