Pure co-op kino

It was so bad, it was the 1st time I wish a game got delayed.

Shame the only real sequels are handheld.
It would have (and kind of did on the handhelds) make a great online game.

I remember having this game for years and loving its soundtrack and atmosphere.
Late high school I remember playing the most comfy 4player co-op mode I've ever done.
Sad they never made a good follow up.

Who did everyone use?

It was good. I just wish that it let you use actual controllers for co-op.

It really deserves a re-release that has proper online multiplayer instead of that obnoxious accessory hell.

Nintendo gave them money specifically to use the gimmick so they had to use the gimmick.
If the battery dies in the middle of a session you can actually change to a controller to finish the stage, but that's it, you can't keep playing after until you get your gba back up and running.
Which is more to say than Four Swords Adventures, which automatically returns to the title screen if a GBA gets disconnected.

Bought it on release. Was so excited to get a FF game on Gamecube. i kick myself for not pushing through till the end. I doubt this game will ever see a rerelease which sucks.

Played the co-op so much at a friend's house. I always liked the Gameboy thing and Nintendo's cross platform stuff, never had the original Gameboy and only played Pokémon yellow on the 64
