A friend and I came up with a way that shit games would get screwed and good games would continue to make money while we can have full digital libraries. The game has a free chunk of the game that after five, ten, or fifteen hours (depending on the type of game, short story based games have the five but open world and RPGs get the fifteen). Once you're done with that you then have to pay or uninstall, you could play through as much of the game as you can with the allotted time. This gives devs the drive to build a game that's longer, better, and more fun so they get the cash to continue. It would weed out shit devs and any multiplayer only games that lack in content.
