Rogues and Aerotheurges use Glass Cannon just fine because they can stop enemies from being able to hit them with invisibility/tactical sneaking or just kill them in the Rogue's case. It's even more complex in DivOS with the source magic that lets you curse or bless characters and aoes.
For example, you can bless a fire aoe to turn into into blessed fire that heals people standing in it, or you can bless a player who burning to turn the debuff into holy fire that heals him from taking fire damage. Hell, if you're lucky enough to find the Lava Core spell, you should be able to do some stupid shit. Although having the lass boss not immune to lava damage is funny. But the best way is still to use the trap chest against him. Or the way I did it first time, with crit crossbow and the shotgun skill you can do. There's many ways to exploit your way to victory, one of the reasons I love it.
