You know anons, you can still play halo reach. Even better if you've got an Xbone, as the framerate is more stable than it ever was on 360. (Still 30fps, just more solid)

Unfortunately I can't say the same for halo 3, it's only got 100-ish players and the only living playlist is lone wolves. However in September it's becoming backwards compatible for Xbone, so expect to see a surge in population. I'd also expect them to give it away for free to all users considering how it's the 10th anniversary, but we'll have to wait and see.

For the whole Hayabusa set, you must collect all skulls in the campaign. There's a guide on how to get the skulls, and one of them are a pain in the ass because you must go thru the rings on the level "the covenant" in a certain order.

The katana is unlocked by getting all the original achievements (pre-dlc), however it will be next to impossible at this point because some require kills with certain weapons in certain maps or do this and do that. Not a lot of population to work with.

Don't quote me on the katana, that's how I think I remembered how to get it. I only had Hayabusa.

ODST was literatly the only good Halo SP, and was literatly Halo 3 but with all DLC. If you had the option to get ODST or Halo 3, Halo 3 would be some basic old maps, while the campaign would be decent, ODST has agood campaign and every multiplayer thing Halo 3 has plus DLC.

Not even forge on Reach was superior, but it was also much more fun than 3's would ever be with friends.

Also, you should try Halo 5, it's fucking great with the monitor's bounty update, it has like 10 times the forge shit than Reach and the shit people do in forge is just beyond impressive, map making is pretty damn presize, specially now that we can play around with scripts, lighting, FX, sounds, even music and also those fucking weapon/vehicle variations, we actually have Tartarus hammer now.

it was standoff. though i know which sandbox map you mean.not all the infected had tanks. there were a handful of turrets and the rest of them had to run around and wait for somebody to fall. i went and found the game on my halo 3 history

By tanks on Standoff, do you mean Wraiths? I'm fairly confident the map doesn't support Scorpions. I do remember the skybox being large enough for maps like Arcadia, Jenga and Skycastle (or whatever), so the rest is pretty plausible.

Zombies only really having one way in through the front, and a skybase with a lot of levels in it, I had hours of fun in that map with friends, but seems like friends in Halo 5 or even Reach or these threads never remember it.
I remade it for Reach and now want to remake it on Halo 5 someday, if I ever get into Halo 5's forge, the game just needs a more active custom's population.
