I don't get it.

I don't think Odyssey has a lot of potential with the new gimmick. It feels like a compilation of minigames that don't help with the platforming aspect of the game. Hopefully that are more things that capture other than the ones we've seen.

Above 90, but it won't beat all the butthurt that Zelda caused.

Skyward Sword was objectively a good game, even if it was one of the weaker entries in the franchise. At least an 8/10 imo.

Zelda can do no wrong in the eye's of your average man child journalist. Mario will get the Nintendo bonus but it won't be as pervasive as Zelda. I expect a 97 then a drop to 96.

Pretty much every 3D Mario has gotten 90+, and this one looks like it'll be particularly good. Critic score inflation is starting to go down a little bit, so I don't think it'll be something ridiculous like 98.

It has some brilliant as fuck atmosphere, music, gameplay, level design and polishing.
