I honestly just enjoy how tiny it is so it fits on my keychain. The faceplates and the headphone jack is a plus, too. The only thing I don't like is that the volume is so low at max.

The only real downside is the size for people with larger hands. Of course, the SP wasn't exactly ergonomic either..

it's great, the most portable and subtle portable you can get, I played pokemon ruby on it during my college graduation
the screen is really small but that also means pictures aren't stretched so everything looks sharp and the battery lasts long
also, it's a minor detail but I love that it's the smallest nintendo console and the only one with lowercase button letters
