Near the volcano to the river to the left. I can go up the volcano to get rocks and stuff to make a stronger base, and use water from the river for drinking and such.

It's a comfy place
over a year ago on a private server I played I relocated to that area, had a wall on stone foundations covering this area.
Relocated to it just before they added the redwood forest since my previous base was there, had a large area around the lake walled in there before that happened.

started working on a farm, thought I'd do it on terraced steps going along the river. Tried without placing it on foundations first, but didn't like how uneven it looked.

hadn't played in a year, and I flew there on pteras with two buddies to place our first platform

Night and I had my torch up, saw something grabbing on to a tree and started telling the others to look, as I was halfway through my sentence the murderous marsupial jumped me and pinned me to the ground until I was dead.

Went to the hidden forest or whatever the fuck it's called on one server with a couple of other friends. Was an absolute pain dragging everyone through, lost a couple dinos because of it.
