I know it might seem like a meme joke but I'm actually serious. Really, any actual magic character of the type of an epic spirit could do it if they had powerful enough attacks simply because the Combine literally cannot hurt them in anyway. They don't have any magic, ""just"" hyper advanced technology. It's still just tech though. If you pick any character who can ONLY be hurt by magic, then it doesn't matter if the combine are a hundred billion trillion times more powerful then humans because a hundred billion trillion times zero is still zero. As long as the character has at least an anti-world level of attack power they could fuck up even a Dyson Sphere if they kept at it for a while.

OP didn't say that, just asked if there was a vidya char that could defeat them. I suppose technically OP didn't even define "defeat" here, if it just means "eliminate their Earth incursion permanently" then practically any random JRPG shitty protag could probably do it.

But even if we're talking defeat as in assaulting their Dyson Sphere eliminating 99.999999% of their power (there'd be random garrisons and shit scattered around other dimensions like Earth but no one gives a shit about them) that doesn't mean they're "ready". A bunch of the sphere's interior is going to be used for habitation, no reason for the Combine to expect something like an ACU to appear out of the quantum foam and begin self replicating out of fucking nowhere at any arbitrary point in the entire sphere. With good intel it'd be assured but even at random I bet it'd take them at least half an hour to scramble the kind of firepower they'd need to destroy an ACU and it'd be way, way too late by then.
