Mike Pondsmith did a speech at GenCon this year and he talked about it a little, didn't give away any details. Oh it turns out he worked with Microsoft in the early 00's due to the PnP Crash in the 90's.

I think he means how CDPR said they wanted the game to look like the cgi, that was part of the wow moment of that. Kinda like how Square showed their engine demo and Ubisoft their early game builds both looked amazing at the time except consoles turned out weak and we got XV and awful shit like unity running at 10 fps.


If they still believe those words than next gen makes sense. If we get zen 2.0 CPU cores in the ps5 consoles might not be awful underpowered shit a year before release like this gen was.

Unity runs at 15 fps today
