same thing with wolfenstein. Fact is, publishers deserve the credit more than the devs since they enable the vision and have the final say in the product. The publisher is the one that looks to dig up an old IP and then hire someone to do the menial work of developing it under the oversight.

It's like, who takes credit for the design of an amazing beautiful building, the architect or the engineer? The architect is the visionary, the engineer puts it together.

I agree that the publisher is important but that's kind of a dishonest analogy. The lead developers are for the game usually have a large amount of creative input, the publisher usually just says "yeah I like that idea" or "no I don't like that idea"
