gamestop down the street. Retro junk stores in mall and downtown. Funny thing is, the retro junk stores are in bad areas/places and charge a shitton for nostalgiacrap games.

I got a Gamestop and a The Gaming Warehouse
I mostly do digital downloads and Amazon for older games now though
IMO getting a game in the mail feels better than buying it in person, and digital downloads are just convenient.

Its almost impossible to tell apart a Game Stop from a Spencers/Hot Topic nowadays.

75% of a gamestop floor is straight out merchandise.

All the GameStop's in my country closed down.

Now there's a new store near me owned by some of the GameStop employees but I don't see them lasting very long. They sometimes don't have the games on release date, and some items they sell at a higher price than anywhere else. The Switch for example was $350 in that store.

I just get my stuff from either Amazon or Walmart. I want to support local stuff but not when they are making it hard for me to find reasons to support them.

I work at what is ostensibly a used game place in the shitty town next to mine. Really, we're basically a glorified specialist pawn shop and all the local dumpster divers, crack heads, and petty thieves know it.
Job itself wouldn't bad if I was at any other location, but we are the busiest store in our little chain, because every other motherfucker in this ghetto ass town wants to make a quick buck selling us massive bins of fucking DVDs, random fucking dumpster cords, or stolen Xbones or iPhones. We're lucky if we just have a busy day, because more often than not we are just completely fucking swamped and have to scramble just to get the store looking halfway presentable due to how people invariably trash the place and the sheer volume of bullshit that we end up taking daily.

I wish we were just a fucking game store.

There's two. A Gamestop with too much merchandise and no selection but a cute girl clerk, and a local shop with high prices that's further away but has fairly nice selection.

Town Center in Burbank has a GameStop and a small vintage game store as well, but the vintage game store is bed. Selection is small and less interesting than private collections I've seen online. Overpriced as fuck as well of course because Burbank

Probably my new favorite store around.

I mostly go by the swapmeets for my share of games, but rarely get good stuff.

The stores around me though are ass. Cali Games can suck it.
