Two, they kept the default controls for laughs even though the game long predated the standardization of Xinput. Even if you bought the game and used a controller when it came out, you would've spent time remapping the controls anyway.

The thing with brawls is that it never specifically had to be something they could all play at the same time. In Anarchy Reigns they did 1v1's and it was fine. Brawls could encompass literally any game with a competitive mode and that would be welcomed.

I wish they would go back to that shit because I fucking hate Fisticuffs/Scrublords episodes because all of them are shit at fighting games, they don't practice beforehand, they don't know how the games work, they're really bad at figuring out how games work on the fly, they play on pad now because swapping sticks was a pain in the ass but because of the switch their execution is worse than it was before and it wasn't even very good to begin with, like I just don't even understand the appeal to these episodes. At best you see a new fighting game that looks cool that you might be interested in playing but it's the game that is interesting and not them playing it. You can't actually get anything out of the videos because their level of play is so shit you'd get the same amount of information from getting those drinking bird toys to press random buttons on a controller. Even games they're supposed to be familiar with they're completely trash at. They've done like 3 hours of footage for King of Fighters games and in all 3 of those videos, in every different game, XIII, 98, whatever, none of them, no one in the group did a hop even a single time, not even on accident.
