There is no feasible way for this to work. Even if you split it like North/South of the Neck so you had 2 maps to load between its just too big and diverse for Beth to recreate in its engine and populate it with content as they do.

Also the lack of fantasy elements leaves fuck all things to do

How would you even handle the gameplay?

If it's a Skyrim-clone, or anything like the Elder Scrolls, then you're gonna be roaming around in a low-fantasy medieval world. What are you gonna do, murder bandits left and right?

A game like this would need to be heavily politics focused, or something like Mount & Blade. Both which I doubt Bethesda can make.

So I don't buy this rumor, it doesn't sound like easy money for them.

I don't know Roberts rebellion had awesome battles but being able to skirmish as robb stark or Jamie in some of their battles.

You'll be able to walk the length and breadth of Westeros in an in-game day, and your character will be voiced over.
