Sunshine made (makes) me feel more comfy that any other game I've played, honestly. Sirena Beach, Ricco Harbor, Pianta Village... fuck man, I could just hang around and listen to the music.

Sunshine has a much better hubworld. It looks nicer and is more colorful. I don't remember ether way since it doesn't bother me but I think it's safe to guess it has better camera controls.

Other than that 64 is better in every way. In particular I like just getting going in 64 immediately. No unskippable cutscenes that you don't care about, no fighting shitty bosses over and over again in the beginning, no chasing shadow mario or whomever over and over again. No "forced" stars no progress.
