Stella was basically Lunafreya back when XV was still Versus XIII. As they changed the story, they had to change Stella's role in the story so drastically they just changed Stella into a new character altogether. Stella is basically a proto-Luna.

Wrong. The Versus devs were stated to only help out on 13 in 2008 during their spare time, not prior, not after. Only in their spare time. Fuck off with your damage control.

BBS didn't start until 2007, versus was announced in 2006, yet he decided to make BBS with full team instead of Versus, Nomura has no problem with using Osaka for home console game either as KH3 shows.

In 2009 FF13 finished and Akira Iwata lead the engineering to creating a modified version of crystal tools called ebony engine that versus would use in 2010 onwards

There is no reason why he couldn't have done that earlier especially since he was a crystal tools dev

Only in 2010 did they start hiring for artists and devs for Versus which they could have done earlier. final character designs and the script for Versus only existed from 2010 which they could have done earlier

But then in 2012 they redid the entire predevelopment and put on the type0 team and started using luminous lighting because nomura wanted to migrate to luminous engine, which didn't even start migrating until July 2013

Nomura is at fault just as much as corporate, nomura kept changing his "vision" every fucking year. Originally versus was gonna have a SD world map with a giant Noctis running around it but then he changed his mind in 2010 saying he wants it to be 3rd person over the shoulder camera the whole time with normal scale and seamless as possible
