Anyone lse feel that most of the stuff in Chi/Back Cover/X/Union X/Etc is not really gonna factor that much in KH3?

Call it a hunch, but given KH3 is stated to be the end of Xehanort's arc but not the end of the series., I feel we may get some stuff touched upon (Like Luxu's box) but most of this new crazy shit is Nomura planting seeds for beyond 3.

Basically, I feel we should not expect to learn anything about what MoM's big goal in 3, nor a lot of this Union stuff.

Doubt this new development with Marluxia is ever gonna be mentioned at all in 3. It seems, surprisingly, that Nomura is dead set in making this a "Heroes vs The Xehanorts" story, with as little deviation as possible unlike some other games where he seems to want to plant too many seeds at once.

Personally I feel that makes sense given despite not being the end of the series KH3 has to have a wrap up that feels more contained than other entries. He can't pull the same open end as DDD, for example, here.

No one can excel while Sora is the main character. I love everything about him, from his goofiness to just being an outgoing person. However I hate how he's somewhat of a Gary Stu. Outside of getting nerfed by becoming a heartless and getting put to sleep to recover, and getting Keikaku'd by Xehanort in DDD and failing to become a Keyblade Master he's relatively one of the strongest people in the series.

And somehow in KH3 Roxas, Xion, & Ventus are supposed to come back and he still has to fight Xehanort, but literally how? We saw what happened when he opened his heart in the first game, and now he has to bring back 3 people. Unless Nomura pulls some Keyblade of Light out of his ass that allows hearts to awaken and recover..Sora is probably in deep shit.

You know what would have been a really cool ending battle for BBS?

It would've taken place in the huge open field of the keyblade graveyard, with all the old keyblades sticking out of the ground. Aqua or whoever gets their keyblade power stolen by xehanort, so you have to run around the battlefield and pick up these ancient keyblades to damage the boss, but they break after a few combos, so you have to run around and find new ones

It's easily explainable in reality. On Ven's part, Xehanort saw his inner potential since apparently it's stated that both his light and dark halves are in perfect balance and when split both have the potential of hell Terra & Aqua. Not only that but Ventus easily catches up with both of them in terms of ability by the time they meet up in the Keyblade Graveyard.

As for Marluxia or Laurium, I have no idea. In KH2 Final Mix there's a flashback cutscene where Xigbar is speaking to Zexion about recently recruiting Marluxia which probably happened sometime around Chain of Memories or beforehand. No idea how his nobody lasted so long or when his original body lost it's heart but whatever.

Surprisingly, as crazy as KH story is, it doesn't have many plotholes/retcons. The biggest and most obvious one is Donald not knowing Yen Sid's tower in KH 2 but in BBS literally ever scene Donald and Goofy are in, they are in Yen Sid's tower (Nomura even knew this was plothole and laughed it off by saying Yen Sid redecorated) Some other small ones are:

Drive Forms are no longer tied to a drive meter, rather, if I read the interview right, they are tied to an attribute, like power, defense, etc. An attribute is tied to a keyblade so essentially Forms are now tied to keyblades.
For example, the Toy Story Keyblade transforms into a drill and a hammer, a power transformation, I assume, so Sora goes into Power Form.

Furthermore, since Forms ain't tied to a meter, they are delegated to the situation command menu, which already has an assload of commands on it.

So what worlds do you fags expect? I think Nomura said they were going for quality over quantity so we might not get as many worlds as Kingdom Hearts 2 but they'll be large as fuck for sure. I think 12 max would be satisfying.

There was 11 in KH1. 12 if you count Hundred Acre Woods. So I suppose that is a decent amount of worlds.
I honestly just don't want to see Agrabah or Halloween Town again. And for god's sake I hope they change the soundtrack for Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. They have used the same track in every single game. And it is one of the worlds you spend the most time in.

Yeah it gives Sora Strike Raid, Ars, Ragnarok, and Sonic Blade along with a couple of his standard combo moves. It's also how you unlock Dodge Roll. It's pretty OP on certain bosses but since the limits replace your magic it's not flawless.

Eventually they are consumed by darkness and their skin is black and eyes bright yellow.

I don't think anyone cares how brain dead Sora may act or how naive Nomura made him as long as he's an outgoing and positive person who tries to make people happy at the drop of a dime. Most of the characters in Kingdom Hearts are incompetent anyway besides the main cast, and even in the main cast you have people like Terra who act like complete autists for no real reason.

That being said Sora's strong suit isn't really his brain, it's his heart and compassion. He doesn't give up and will always be there to reach out to people, we have other smart or mature characters to lean on in other situations. Nomura has been trying to beat it into us each game, that Sora is fine the way he is. A carefree individual who really gives zero shits about anything besides being there for his friends.

On another note it's ironic how everyone but Sora has had far better development in the story. Hell his nobody got more development than him and is way more competent than he could hope to be.

Proof? Pretty much all of FFXV, but then there's also pretty much everything X and up.

For example, Squall's original design was already pretty good and subtle without having to add or change anything. But just about every 'gun-wielding' character now has a fucking skirt for no foreseeable reason other than it's fashionable.

there's some irrelevant story and some important story in UX.

Irrelevant is the typical world stories, where you go to a world and do a hypercondensed movie plot.

Basically anything happening in Daybreak Town is relevant though and you should pay attention to it.

Long story short is that it takes place around the time of the keyblade war. There's 5 foretellers who run unions that collect Lux to apparently summon Kingdom Hearts. Rumors start flying that one of the foretellers is a traitor and the world will end, and a bunch of other rusey shit.

Fox slut is told to make a new group independent of these unions called the Dandelions. 5 people will be union leaders after this war and spread out to new worlds to keep light alive.

These 5 people include Ventus, Ephemer, Skuld, Blaine, Strelitzia and Lauriam. Notice that I said 5, but this is 6 people. Strelitizia was the 5th, but one of the other 5 killed her and took her book of prophecies, posing as a union leader. Which one of these 5 is the traitor is not known yet, but the obvious answer is probably Lauriam since he's Marluxia and was the last to arrive, but it's almost too obvious so it might not be him.
