Try out EU/EW if you haven't played that yet. It's dirt cheap and still fun, and arguably better than XCOM 2 with a modded Long War. Otherwise 60% off is decent.

Remember, you're not playing XCOM until you miss the 99% shot or the enemy lands the 1%

Nah, it gets repetitive about halfway through. You see 4 mission types about 95% of the time and the others are so rare they may as well not exist.

Definitely not, the game has extremely poor performance and long ass loading times.
Optimization patch is locked behind the new DLC.
