Doing it all in one playthrough is a lot fucking faster. You'll have a ton of locations you can fast travel to, you'll be a heck of a lot stronger and probably even maxed out. Starting from scratch requires you to do all of that again. And main point again, it's optional to do everything. Nobody ever has an argument that beats that.

Most of the content takes you into cities that you can simply ride a carriage to, and unless you're on console, which I'd wager you are with that sort of "need everything fast" attitude, you shouldn't really ever have to do the prologue more than once with an alternate start mod, which is simply faster and more efficient anyways.

If we're talking efficiency, we may as well open console commands and teleport to locations. Why even do any walking outside of the combat, and that's if you even want to deal with that sort of thing. Switch on god mode and grab the mcguffin. Don't forget to buy your creation club credits!

I was waiting for something like this.
I love how Bethesda works on their games and I love modding.
So a GOT game will be like SKYRIM but without all TES bullshit (deal will it nobody cares about TES and nobody still playing SKYRIM because >MUH TES LORE).

It's fine by me. I played around 1700 hours SKYRIM with mods and in all my playthroughs I try to recreate something like GOT (also I try to survive in that world you know mods like Hunterborn, Frostfall and Campfire).

Considering Bethesda is doing it yeah. But if it were a more competent dev it'd be pretty sweet. Multiple sword styles (dirty, noble, needle, etc), tons of sweet armor and clothing, Some Red Priest magic ala flaming weapons.

They could always set it further in the past where there were tons of giants, Children of the Forest, Wights, White Walkers, etc if the whole too human thing bothers people.
