As far as I'm concerned it's already horribly stale hence why I care a lot more about the Hokuto no Ken spinoff than Kiwami 2.
I wish we had Kenzan and Ishin since they too were a breath of fresh air we'll never get.

For most murican's, the series started with Yakuza 0. I think it's going to take a while, OP.

The gameplay gets stale in the middle of the first game. Thankfully there is enough variation in terms of story and side content to even it out.

If how /v/ behaves is any indication, once the games officially come to PC then they'll go "it was shit anyway, enjoy our scraps". There already is a mobile and PC online Yakuza game in development (very likely to be Japan only), I'm surprised that I haven't seen any falseflag threads like AHAHAHA YES, PC WINS AGAIN! Once that game does drop, you can count on people saying "the console ones are better", whether it's true or not.
