I unironically would choose the xbone.

I like the console exclusives, best multiplats (not counting PC), 360 BC and a better online service. Also I'd consider getting gamepass but it's probably too expensive for me.

I own a PS4 and a Switch and the Switch is the only console I'm unreservedly happy about owning. PS4 gave me MGSV, Destiny, the overhyped Bloodborne, shitty triple A games that my "friends" insisted I play with them.

You clearly missed the plethora of broken Switchs on release, or the constant random problems it has, such as not being able to read the game cartridge because the 3.5mm audio jack displaced it, or the unit bending with heat, or the left joycon having no antenna, etc. Currently it's the least stable of the bunch but at least it's better than it was 4 months ago

Also you claim that there was a plethora of broken switches on release. But going by how many were sent to be repaired it really does seem like it wasn't that bad at all. The PS4 launch however was a shit show and to a lesser extent the PS4Pro. The Xbox One for what is pretty much the first time in Xbox history however, didn't seem to have that many issues either.

Pixels literally don't matter as long as the game's running at the screen's NATIVE res.

Avoiding scaling algorithms should be top priority and those are what make games look like complete ass. Pixelization and jaggies are one thing but blur vision is something else entirely

If they can actually pull a decent collection of game for the gen9 Xbox, I'd be interested, but if they can't separate xbox from Windows, then they'll have essentially lost me. Skipped Sony for a 360 and vice versa for PS4.


Guess I'm one of those who still go by console exclusivity, but to me, it's what makes a console worth it.
