I don't have anything against orange hexagons, but the civilian and military parts is what bothers me these days.

I could see the whole space marine part being logical if the setting had a frontier part about it that would allow for this (whereas core worlds wouldn't need all soldiers to walk in powered armors non-stop).

In case of civilians they should have a more modern feel, but in a cyberpunk setting it would be totally out of place if there weren't people that have bizarre looks.
