The cast's inputs shouldn't be so homogenized. If one thing SFV did right it was bringing a variety of movesets for people who like motion, charge, and Smash/Budokai style. I don't mind if most of the characters are just quarter circles, but it would be nice if a small fraction had more complex motions and some simple Ed/Budokai motions. Especially any clone characters

I'd say they're both lock ins given their criteria for fighters. Both are main Z Fighters present in most fights and games. Both are iconic and have large fanbases. And most importantly, both have access to very unique moves. Tien has the multiform technique, Tri Beam, and that one move where he grows extra arms. And Yamcha has the Spirit Ball, and Wolf Fang Fist which could work like a Rekka.

That's not how it works. Trunks lives in another timeline. Cabba lives in another universe. Hyperbolic Time Chamber is another dimension.

Maybe there's a translation issue with dimension =/= reality, but the movies are in a different dimension, always have been and always will be. Super does not retcon that because Super introduces universes, not dimensions.

Nah its been going up and down between the arcs in particular everything to do with Hit is nonsensical. SSB used to have different rules in regards to the stamina drain too where it would drain faster on subsequent transformations like an activation cost but now it works like the anime where it drains over time.

The movies are What-If stories. What if Goku did x instead of y, what if Frieza had a brother, what if blah instead of blah. This was in my head alot ever since Android 18 was announced for Dragon Ball FighterZ(thank god XD).

I know most of you has seen my comments write that Basil would be an excellent addition for Dragon Ball FighterZ, most people here says no and you know what, I may have to agree. =/

So here's my thought I'd share here.
Android 18 has movesets that in involves Android 17(sucks -_-) attacks, command grabs and even her level 3, so here's what I been thinking, what if instead of Basil could it be possible for Bergamo to be a playable character and some of his movesets involves in brothers Basil and Lavenda.


For Bergamo's ki blast special attack could be Basil's ki blast that he uses with his feet.

For one of Bergamo's special attack it can be Lavenda's poison attack.

One of Bergamo's level 1(or maybe 2) is Basil's bulk form and does his Wolfgang Pressure attack.

As for Bergamo's level 3, I just found out yesterday that the Trio of Dangers has a special attack that involves all three of em doing this Triangle blast attack(don't know the name, please tell me below).

And that's it, I believe if any of those three characters would be added for this game it'd be Bergamo with his brothers as his movesets.

This isn't a "Oh Bergamo has a chance to make it in because of this and that", this is just a thought I wanted to share that I had in my mind, please tell me below.

He's referencing what ArcSys said about Xrd's animation and how it emulates 2D fighting games. DBFZ pretty much has the same level of animation. I think it looks good and all but animation-wise pretty much every 2D fighter released over atleast the past decade animates more fluidly than Xrd/DBFZ does so that statement is a bit odd to a lot of people.

With how RoF showed the Hell, I doubt that the Toei version stands a chance, as it actively clashes with the canon. And that version wouldn't be a good stage. I think having Kaiousama's planet as a transition would work better, as it wouldn't be a radically different place.

People like Cooler or other Super characters can always be DLC, but this works at a base level, and allows varied playstyles.

They are less important. Great Saiyaman would be just Ginyu unless you added some of Gohan's moves, and Future Gohan is way too minor to be in a game with a small roster, Bardock would be a better choice with a similar play style.

Maybe Mystic Gohan will be very similar to Goku, but I don't think that he will be any more similar than Vegeta. It's a pretty different incarnation of Gohan compared to his Teen version, and it'd be a great way of including a "base" Saiyan without it being retarded.
