That fight was incredible, it's been a long time since I've been so exhilarated to see a boss die, both due to mechanical difficulty and story presence.

Frankly that whole game was pretty on point with that, the final boss especially. I was gassed out of everything against him due to the MC getting charmed and dropping a full heal on him in phase 1, but fuck if it didn't feel good to comeback and win it.

King Frost is more a filter to kick people out of IV's mindset. You have a very good understanding of IVA's mechanics changes and that mageon is useful. The 3 boss gauntlet is the casual filter and Odin is where the game picks the fuck up.

I literally couldn't beat the game past that point without action reply. i have never played a rpg like that so it mad no sense to me at all and it was actually hard, despite my friend telling me to put all my skill points in magic first.
after that it took a long time to defeat lucifer even with action reply dont ask me how this was like 7 years ago

This boss fight actually sucks the first time you face him (with the item) if you started with a mag build. If you're not aware that the item does physical damage you'll end up running to him with the MC unit and doing no damage at all. I don't know why they didn't just make it an almighty attack so mag users wouldn't end up doing like 2 damage vs phys users getting to do 20 thanks to it scaling.

I actually stopped playing after dying to him once when he was in the red. It's wasn't that I got stuck as too I'm no longer invested in the story to grind some skills to counter him, I knew I fucked up the moment I chose the persona route.

When I got to the rematch with Beldr in Naoya's route, I dropped him in like in like 1 or 2 turns, and I had only 12 STR. You can crit Beldr, so that's where a lot of the extra damage comes from. It's a good idea to have a Kishin demon in your party, since they allow you to initiate combat twice in one turn.

YHVH was almost impossible for me

The hardest part of Vishnu is getting a team set up that can survive past the first turn
After the first round of buffs and doping it becomes a pretty standard fight
