Does anyone know if this is the Special Edition or not?
Does it run at 1080p docked?
Will it be fun?

It's the special edition but toned down a bit, less foliage and such compared to the PS4 version. Very stable 30 fps according to digitalfoundry.
We don't know yet but possibly.
The combat is very flawed but I've grown to like it and find it fun.

>Special Edition
Yes, the textures and level geometry/foliage are special edition and it comes with all the DLC.
Current sources are saying 720p/30 even when docked from what I can tell, but it's possible that could be wrong.
It's Skyrim. It's been like 5 bucks before, and it's been out for 6 years. With all due respect, you probably already know if you'd like it or not. Just take your current thoughts on Skyrim and put them on a portable.

I never did get the autistic contrarian hate it gets on here. All the Elder Scrolls games have their ups and downs, except for online but the hate for that is understandable.

Will it be 30fps? Yes.

Because the actual gameplay, animations, graphics, voiceacting, world design, quests and writing are garbage.
All it's got going for it is the music and lore.
>bethesda game
>with no mods
Fucking retarded.

It's a Bethesda game anon, that's pretty par for the course for them. Hell just look at Fallout 4, and that game was hyped to hell and back. The appeal to their games is the fact that you can mod the everloving fuck out of them, but even then I still enjoyed Skyrim as it was.

It's the combination of the facts that I) most of us here see it as a downgrade when compared to the older games in the series and II) it gets praised to heaven and back in mainstream vidya discussion. I personally don't even hate Skyrim that much, but it just irks me to see how much praise it gets despite butchering the character development system and having absolutely shitty quest design.

That's pretty understandable, Skyrim is by no means perfect and the eternal dicksucking gets annoying, but /v/ seems to lose its shit every time it's mentioned. Then again it is /v/.
