The gameplay itself is really good. The way the story unravels is very underwhelming, even anger inducing for a Mass Effect fan.

The problem with Conviction is that it doesn't let you play intelligently. You're railroaded into these cover shootouts again and again. Good game design is about flexibility and giving the player tools to find their own playstyle, not forcing one on them. That's why SC: Blacklist and SC: Chaos Theory are the best games in the series.

Ubisoft Shanghai (Pandora Tomorrow) made Double Agent for 7th gen. Ubisoft Montreal (SC/Chaos Theory) made Double Agent for 6th gen.

The PC version is based on the 7th gen version and is hilariously broken. I have no fucking idea how it passed any sort of QA. I assume nobody had working eyes.
