I guess I just threw in the towel on Disgaea 5, that's kind of a jrpg.

Beat the game, grinded to 9999 multiple times, and hit a brick wall on Baal and didn't want to grind another 15-20 hours in carnage item world to beat him.

Looking forward to playing through FF12 again, but waiting until I see a good deal on the game or it gets announced for PC.

You definitely won't beat this. Requires like 120 hrs of grinding. It was fun for the first 60 or so though. Then the content dried up before the final final mega ultra boss that requires lvl99 to beat

Cold Steel 1 on PC. The difference between Vita and PC is noticable to say the least.

Cold Steel 3. And probably 2 on PC, despite owning a Vita version. I'm now in the capital in CS1 and getting some nasty flashbacks of that slideshow I experienced on Vita so I kinda don't want to ruin it for myself. Plus turbo button seriously spoiled me.
By the time I finish CS2 they will announce CS3 on PC and my PS4 version will remain sealed.

It's decently playable, I'm through the 3rd palace so far and with core pausing I can keep 20-30fps. The glitching happens once in a while when hitting cutscenes or load screens and can range from just the textures getting wonky to text boxes as well. Sometimes hitting another loadscreen/cutscene will fix it but if it ever happens to me I just save and reset since usually the game will freeze not too long after it occurs. Have fun. If you end up having to pause cores to get a more fluid framerate what's worked for me is to pause 3, 4, and 5 at the starting 'do you want to connect to online features?' screen, then once I've loaded my game pause 2. Pausing 2 will generally make the game pause as well but if you keep clicking run/pause eventually it'll stop and the game will keep going.

it's not bad. It has some issues and it's very childish. Making stacks can be complex but you don't need to worry about it until postgame

but a nice nostalgia trip through FF + pokemon mechanics.

Currently 100% KH2 and playing through DQVIII on 3ds. Idk I just finished P5 and I'm not sure what else to be looking forward to minus the obvious (KH3, FFVIIR, DQXI, etc.)

I've been a huge DQ fan my entire life, but SE's handling of the series outside of Japan has left a really bad taste in my mouth over the last few years. I want to be excited for DQXI but I'm finding it hard to be.

I was so excited for the 3DS remakes of DQVII and VIII (VII on PS1 is one of my all-time favorite games,) but I eventually ended up not even playing them, even after waiting some four years for the VII remake on 3DS.

Been playing through God Wars the past few days. It's a good little SRPG with a neat setting if you're into Japanese mythology and folklore, but of course, NISA published it in the West, so there's a catch. Somehow they forgot to include subtitles in the animated cut-scenes, despite patting themselves over the back for including dual audio in it.

Yeah, but it's Godawful. Think early '00s Koei level of bad.

It's not really the end of the world though, some guy's uploaded all the cut-scenes with his own subs, so it's not that bad. Plus the animated cut-scenes aren't super frequent, most of the story's done in traditional JRPG text-dumps or pseudo-comic scenes ala Bayonetta. NISA's PR guy claimed back on release that they were working on a patch, but two months later and nothing's been heard, so I'm not holding my breath on it ever happening.

Project Octopath Traveler. I'm really curious about it, specially because some people say it could some kind of Bravely third or something like that.
