I play fightans every now and then. I just play the story mode or against my friends, though. I just don't think the time invested to git gud vs the fun I'd get out of it is a worthwhile trade. I have nothing against the people who play them or the games themselves, but I'd just rather spend my time on other games.

I'm thinking about getting a stick but I'm not sure. I've only ever used a stick for fighting games a few times at the arcade. I liked them but not sure if I would prefer it over a controller or not.

I have so much trouble doing accurate inputs. Even a quarter circle still fails for me sometimes. Anything more complicated than that always fucks me up. I may be hitting the face buttons too soon, or something, but I just never get the hang of it.
Sometimes while attempting a quartercircle move I'll end up doing a down, forward, diagonal, move or a forward, down, diagonal, and I just don't know how I'm doing that.
