Flares work like a projectile even when they are stuck into the ground breaking the grass the flower boots grow. You could also use a Yo-Yo, but you can't swing a net at the same time and risk slaughtering half your bait.

Fired flares break the grass that spawns via Flower Boots if it's in the same space. Pretty sure the grass spawns in a tic and breaks in a tic, so you end up breaking 30 plants (60 if you get both blocks under you) per second. Just start waving your net and you'll catch whatever spawns. Jungle is recommended because you can get a shit load of Buggys (40% bait power).

Am I the only one that ahs zero desire to play Expert mode? The game is hard enough if you don't minmax every boss fight and don't farm everything.

Expert mode fights even in videos just look so boring. You have to play extra passively since you can't tank as many hits and every fight takes more than twice as long as in normal mode. Sure the new attacks and items are cool, but that doesn't really make it worth it for me.

The biomes generated post WoF are unbalanced, due to the existence of Corruption already present in multiple locations, and then adding a huge swath of Corruption to the world. On top of that I usually get shitty luck and my Hallow generates over my Snow biomes, which sucks because Hallow can convert Ice blocks but not Snow blocks. So I'm perpetually stuck with these tiny Hallow biomes and gigantic Corruption that inevitably rapes my surface Jungle.

Just had my first invasion and a bloodmoon happened halfway through it, I was completely unprepared and I have never been wrecked this hard in Terraria before. Somewhere between my 50 deaths I managed to put up a stone ceiling outside and just sat under it while I blasted the saucer with a meteor staff and chugged mana potions.
