Nearly every zone in the series was referenced. Mirage Saloon's lightbulbs are from Collision Chaos, for instance.

Mushroom Hill got kind of left out though, aside from the extendy bridges showing up in Stardust Speedway Act 1. I'm surprised they didn't include the lever things, because those were in Egg Garden in Taxman's old game.

Tons of secrets in that zones and I love the stage gimicks such as the balloons and those things that spin you around, the barrel etc.

RGB was never adapted for broadcast in the US and consumer TV's never had any support for it.
The closest thing the US had to it was Component which was a bit different.

Japan had RGB support through JP-21 cables while Europe got it through SCART.
US Broadcast/Professional Monitors had RGB support via BNC cables(retro enthusiasts typically buy Scart-to-BNC cable to connect their consoles to their BVM/PVM's)

RGB is a color space. It basically allows a far broader color spectrum and far higher bandwidth for much sharper image quality.

Ocean Base isn't even the water level. Twinkle Snow is the real underwater level, and the best level of that game.

Also the Sonic 3 half has Hydrocity and Launch Base, those are some of the best zones of all time. I also like water levels in Sonic, you can either avoid much of the water, or actually play through most of them pretty fast anyway. Especially god damn Pirates' Island in Rush Adventure, is there a single more underrated zone?
