Yes, absolutely. 1 and 2 are rather difficult to get into, though 2 has the best story by a comfortable margin. 3, 4, and 5 are all quite great. Fans are split between 3 and 4 because they're polar opposites - 3 is moody, angsty, melancholic, and depressing, while 4 is super upbeat Japanese scooby-doo in TV land. Both have their respective charms and I loved them both. 5 has the best gameplay, and it's stylish as FUCK.

I'd say play 3-5 in order, then if you're itching for more emulate 2 because it's a great story trapped in a poorly aged game.

The maze-like samey hallway dungeons are somehow worse than the procedurally generated shit from P3 and P4 as well. P1 is just an awful fucking game and the fact that it manages to feel like it's dragging on even though you can make the game play itself is hardly a point in its favor.
