Unfortunately no. Part of what makes Malk so good is the clairvoyant insight laced in their batshit dialogue. To fully appreciate it you as the player must have full knowledge of the events that are happening and will happen. Malkavians are fine for a first playthrough if you're just a lolsorandumb reddit memester, but to actually appreciate what the Malkavian is requires outside knowledge on the player's part.

I love the idea that Dr. Grout is probably one of the weaker Malkavians out there but he was the only one that the other clans could come close to understanding so he got elected as default leader. I wish there was more interaction between the clans in bloodlines. It would have been nice to see all of the leaders and get there takes on the end of the world.

Obtenebration is done well in the Antitribu mod, combat-wise. They definitely could've implemented it.

The biggest problem is that Lasombra is a Sabbat clan, and the whole game plays through the Camarilla perspective, every clan included is either neutral or Camarilla-allied. This is the reason they don't include Lasombra and Tzimisce.

Yeah. The wolf summoning is cool, the Nagaraja (I think) being able to turn into a snake is cool, and so are the Tzimisce abilities but unfortunately for most mods the level changes never feel that good.

I wish people would either just stick with redoing the clans or do an entire add-on with new missions and stuff that doesn't alter the vanilla game.

I started doing what I saw a speedrunner doing when I played Nosferatu. You can melee her while spamming burrowing beetle (level 2 animalism) which does a fair bit of damage. Makes her go down pretty quickly if you have some bloodpacks to use.

But yeah that part stops up a lot of new players, unfortunately, and melee on its own is nearly useless against her.

There's supposed to be a Werewolf game in the works, haven't heard much about it though. That's from the World of Darkness lore like Vampire.

And there's another game called Vampyr that's supposed to be similar to VtMB but it's set in a place like 200 years ago which makes me think it won't feel as immersive and interesting but I could be wrong.

I didn't say it doesn't fit in the tabletop, I'm sure you could even find or explain an actual lasombra antitribu that openly uses their powers and is allied to the Camarilla because he defected or whatever. But generally speaking, Sabbat clan antitribu that would take orders from a Camarilla prince are so exceedingly rare that there is no way the devs could include them in a Camarilla plotline without having a different embrace and explanation for everything.

Also I've posted in this thread a few times that a direct sequel might end up like Duke Nukem Forever. I mean it would be cool to see some other sides in the WoD like the Technocrats, more from the Werewolves, the Sabbat, etc. but I'd rather have it fully working in VR than to have a mediocre sequel.

Because it's in very early stages. Focus literally announced the game the day after they struck the deal with Paradox. There wasn't even Concept Art, at least for the first week there wasn't.
And Vampyr is being made by the same guys who did Remember Me and Life is Strange.
