>I would argue any rpg with character creation
>playing as a girl
>>388247552
Still, how is she any less of a "Strong female character" in prime than the handheld games?
>>388247049
But why is it sans Prime to begin with?

>>388247049
I doubt it. This whole discourse started after other m had already come out (in fact it was a big part of why it did).
Also wtf is wrong with Samus in the prime series?

It's particularly funny because she never runs around in a bikini in those ones.

Reimu and Marisa, I love their personalities

Heather is still my favorite. On of the best representations of a somewhat introverted teenage girl that is just trying to live a normal life despite the extraordinary circumstances surrounding her "birth". She's not particularly badass or made to be "strong", but instead does show weakness, emotion, and fear in what happens. Despite that she takes shit in stride and even reacts pretty realistically to her father dying. Sad, but then incredibly pissed off to the point of being somewhat irrational considering she's taking on a cult leader who actually has full on monster and shit.
Seriously, some of the cutscenes with her as the focus remain my favorite in all of vidya. Her freak out at Vincent when he even suggests her father is a bad person, the drive to Silent Hill where she really comes to understand everything while processing her recent loss, and the mixture of both happiness/pride of defeating a god-like being, but then remembering that her father is still gone for good. She's a fantastic character who is incredibly flawed, irrational, emotional, and even has small signs of issues like serious bags under her eyes. Heather is handled incredibly well in both the story and her design, which is made even more notable due to it being in the horror genre of all things.

Reimu is a beggar/extortioner
That's what you like?
>>388249187
No, I like her canon personality, not her parodies
>>388244845
An oldie but she's pretty good
>Hardass military ruler who likes raiding
>Laughs at all the the rulers for being weaklings
>Some of the best character dynamics between allied generals in the game
>Starts in northern territories with harpies and barbarians
>Can get dragon units very early
>Benefits aggressive play-style rather than being a turtle
>You don't even know its a chick until midway through the campaign

Red from transistor is pretty great. Doesn't say a word the whole game but I still feel connected to her.
