Haven't played first two Storm games, but the third one is better than anime by a mile. Actually tells the story without fillers with beautiful animation and graphics. If you was invested in Part 1 as a kid, then you will appreciate Sasgay and Nardo fight in the valley from the first Part1 with interactive flashbacks right in the middle of the fight and other shit.

In all fairness, up to episode 138 there's very little filler, so you can stop there and then watch the last 5~ minutes of episode 220 and you're good. It's really not as big a problem as you think. It's Shippuuden that mixes canon and filler and is a nightmare to watch.

One of the filler episodes pre-138 is an adaptation of a short manga side-story in which Team 7 try to peek under Kakashi's mask and is actually really funny, so still good there too.

I think they're really good aside from 4. 4 has the most boring fights against all of like 3 different villains over and over again and almost the entire story is made up of screencaps from the anime instead of in-engine cutscenes. There are a couple of cool things like Guy unlocking the gate of death and the final battle but it felt like 50% of the game is fighting Madara Uchiha as different characters.

I have been following this show for so long, reading or watching the new chapter and new episode just became a routine for me.
I have been on this ride for over half of my life.
I started watching it when I was 7 and I am turning 21 next week and in that time I have never even once missed an episode or chapter when I switched over from the anime to the manga.
