So it's done to trigger 100% achievement hunters? I mean I could just use a trainer, get 32 Tech in everything, 10000000000000000000000000 gold and build loads of armies and just fuck the diplomatic consequences of declaring war constantly. Just have 50k stacks on every provence and a 10 100k stacks steam rolling areas.

It's just not possible without cheating because, like, I tried to do Roman Empire, by the time I got to France/Spain in 1790's or so, I had to then go over to America in order to get enough warscore to get the provinces in mainland.

Your purpose is to spread your seed and keep your dynasty alive. You really dont need to learn much, the interface looks overwhelming but 95% of the buttons and tabs are very situational and you honestly dont even need to use them to play.

Just pick a recommended country and give yourself a goal. I always loved playing Persia, reforming Zoroastrian faith, fighting off Muslims, Turks, Mongols. Fucking my sister-wives and becoming the saoshyant. Its fun, challenging and youre under constant threat.

For added enjoyment ALWAYS play on ironman so you cant savescum(not until you learn the ropes). Also findinng ways to white peace out of a catastrophic war is a fun thing to do

Don't be afraid of a coalition as long as its not too big. Time your wars so that the people who can join a coalition against you have a truce or otherwise can't. Don't fuck with Italy, except Savoy, until 1490. Then just vassalize everyone there and release minors from big Italian blobs and vassalize them. Repeat with Ireland, you may need to declare a no cb war to get over there though. From there you just beat on Castille, take a province of Aragon and Navarra and then feed them land. Using vassals is the easiest way to do it. Dismantling the empire would also be to your favor so that German minors what to be your vassal too.
