i still try to play coh2 every now and again and i just hate how the armies play and feel, especially with all the stupid commanders instread of the doctrines of 1.

Everything feels worse handling than 1 and the tanks move comically fast, and the pop caps in 1v1 games are so low you cant even field a decent sized army.

The way the units behave in and out of combat is great.

Some try to keep their voices down when they're in enemy territory like the Pioneers, and some yell giving no fucks wanting to fight like the American Riflemen. The sound design is probably the best ever.

I had noticed that they also change their lines if tense fights are happening on the map to much more stressed out ones, to reflect on what the player is doing at that point
Only when no combat happens anywhere on the map they will use their idle chatter lines even when not selected
I don't really care for allies though, only ever played wehrmacht and panzer elite
