Way too late to the game imo. The last Call of Duty game I actually bought was Black Ops 2 and I barely played it. Now, 5 years later, I'm playing Insurgency, Overwatch, Day of Infamy, CS:GO, and PUBG. I love FPS games, they are pretty much all I play and Call of Duty has been boring for a while. A nice fast paced semi-arena shooter shooter was fun on consoles back in the 2000s but CoD failed to adapt. They have been releasing the same game since they started and that was fine when they weren't really competing against much, but now Insurgency is releasing a console title and other games are more fun and interesting.

CoD isn't realistic, there aren't vehicles or other cool mechanics, the campaigns are shit, the multiplayer is too crowded with nonsense, there isn't good character creation, it's WAY over priced, and the community is retarded. There is no edge that CoD has that will make me buy a new one unless they go back to the chaos it used to be.

I still play MW2, if they can shit out a decent campaign and cut the usless garbage from multiplayer then I might buy it. What made CoD so good was how fast and chaotic it was, if they could go back to that I would be happy. I will be in college though, I can't just shell out 60 fucking dollars for a CoD game, wth.

It started with Ghosts, which takes place in the future and there is at least a reason to have female conscripts in a war that the US and its foe were hopelessly stalemated in. All other CoD games likewise were set in the future. This is a bad argument, because the multiplayer has always been based in what happens in either the story of the game or the historical events that inspired them. In MW2, if I play as a Spetsnaz then I will be playing as a white male who speaks Russian. In Cod:WWII, if I play as a German then I can play as a black woman. That does not make sense.

In the campaign you can play as different people depending on the level. You play as a female French resistance fighter I believe, which is definitely okay because they existed and were prevalent. I don't have a complaint about the parts where the game does something right, but you apparently DO have a complaint that you play as a white male. Why? That's what the war was.
