not much, most psp games try and emulate the console experience, only to fail miserably and you wind up just wishing you can play its console counterpart.

Key of Heaven is great if you like wuxia. Loads of combos from different schools to learn by collecting individual movements that make up the attacks, create a combo feature after a point, frisbee sword and everything. Does a much better job at it than Jade Empire

With the exception of needing rank 3 steal for the reaver ring, which is some SERIOUS bullshit, skill experience is fine. I got no problems with a slow and steady rank up as a reward for just playing the game.
