CA released god tier patch alongside Norsca which made even Azhag fun and then nerfed everything with hotfix like locking new unique skill trees for LL until they are lvl 12.

I just got this, and I have absolutely no idea of what's going on.
What's the deal with lone hero units? I know you can merge them with armies but I see enemy ones running around doing nothing I guess and I can't seem do anything about them.
Also, how do you recruit renown regiments, and are there any honeypot units/builds/etc that I should avoid?

whats a good % of cav vs infantry in your army? How much shock / light./ heavy?

Use other heroes to attack lone hero units. Every race has one specialist in assassination

You can deploy them in enemy province or yours for buffs and debuffs. You can sent them to scout terrain, weaken armies or assassinate lords or help them mantain your public order.
For example you can use Warrior Priest to cleanse Vampiric or Chaos Corruption from your land and while deploying in your province he gives +30 to growth iirc. He do nicely in battle too if you build him right. Witch Hunters aren't very good on battlefield but are good assassins and you should always have few to kill enemy heroes wandering on map.
They are like agents in earlier TW but now you can deploy them on battlefield too.

RoR unlock after achieving certain lvl or doing some quest. You need dlcs for them though.

Just downloaded the game yesterday and I'm playing empire. What do?
