I've been playing Mad Max and it's lots of fun if you don't care about story. New Hitman game is also pretty damn good but optimization is not that good so you'd need quite a decent pc to run it 60fps stable. You can also buy Quake Champions if you like that type of games but afaik it's going to be F2P once it's out of the beta, so you probably should keep the money if you aren't interested in playing this early.

Happy birthday. Depends on what genres you like, what games you already have, and if you'd be willing to wait for a game to go on sale or not. Looking at sales first.

There's a lot of really good games floating around that aren't on sale right now, there's good games on sale right now but not at the lowest they are on other sites or even on Steam itself, then there's all the obvious porn games and then the trash games and shitty mobile-ports.

Off the top of my head there's the Fallout games (wait for 4 GOTY to go on sale though because that pricetag will eat up your card), XCOM2 is free to play this weekend but you can buy it for 60% off but only one DLC is on sale as well, all the old Doom games and Quake games are in their own bundles on sale too but you should already have those, ditto with Bioshock. Shame STASIS is no longer on sale or I'd suggest that for a isometric point-and-click horror game that, if CAYNE is any indication, is more actual horror than pointless gore or dumb jumpscares.

I forget if Jotun was any good. Probably not. In Verbis Virtus is a first person shooter/magic game that requires a mic. Avernum Escape from the Pit if you want a CRPG. Odallus if you want an early Castlevania style game.

I do not recommend getting Wanda. It's a shitty puzzle game with huge cutscenes, made with RPGMaker, and tries too hard to be like a puzzle-heavy To the Moon but still fucks it up hard.

Speaking of games trying too hard: Zzzz-Zzzz-Zzzz. It's a buck for an expanded freeware title. Different styles of levels, different puzzles, different locations... all dream-logic (and stupid dream-logic at times too) and several ways to "clear" each level, plus a hub whose map is a torus. Fall to the bottom, fall from the top. Walk to the end of the left, walk back in from the right.

GigaChess has a demo, try that out first. It's basically Chess the Puzzle Game.

DO NOT GET MIGHTY NO 9. I got it for free and I still feel I was cheated.
