Nier Automata is an overrated game that panders to psuedointellectuals and horny people with ass. Its only redeeming qualities are its sex appeal and the soundtrack. Gameplay is repetitive and the story is melodramatic and tries too hard to be deep.

Persona 5 is better but holds your hands too much and excels at nothing other than artstyle.

BOTW is great though

Dodging negates damage. Dodging at the split second before you get hit gives you a flurry rush which barely increases your damage. In general, it's easier to parry attacks which give you no reward besides not breaking your shield.
Dodging attacks is more difficult than parrying, thus giving you a better reward.
But you can do neither if you really suck at video games.

And by your definition, literally every video game made after Atari 2600 is a "cinematic experience" because they all have an intro.

As people who localize games, the cost to localize a game is much smaller than the cost to make one.

The only thing that could possibly "Save" video game is resetting back to zero with a crash and starting all over. People should absolutely care about sales.
