I didn't play 7 yet, and I love Tekken, but the whole King of Iron Fist tournament always felt like a cheap excuse. I mean who organizes these fights? Like at one point fucking demon Jinpachi announced one, so it can't be the announcer.

Fighting games always have these awesome stages. In TekkenXStreerF, there was this stage where they fought on a cargo freight, while a T-rex was chasing them in the background. I would love to hear about the circumstances of how the fighters got there in story mode.

Either that or sticking to DOA because the vs mode's random switches characters each rematch so it's fast and you don't have to bother with menus too much. Tekken 7 is too slow between fights so it's one of the reasons my friends don't want to play it I guess.
