I didn't like the most recent game that much. Some of the extra doors rely too heavily on gimmicks that the game never teaches or explains to you at all.
The SNES is my favorite. A lot of the areas are really open and it was fun to spiderman around everywhere but it also had a lot of really tough stages you'd find every once in a while.

yeah, I agree that sayonara is the weakest of the games, though I personally like shun the most for its springier physics and less bullshit enemy spawn rate

Yes. This series getting localized was the most pleasant surprise I have experienced this entire gen. I would've played it sooner had it hit stateside sooner than it did. I would like Shun to hit NA PSN though so I can play it on my NA Vita.

Damn straight I do. Pretty shit at them but finding little techniques in the mechanics to do shit like jumping really far is still fun.

I still remember back in 2011 finding out about the DS port because I looking at the game's Wikipedia on a whim. It was the only way to get the game outside of emulators so I imported it almost immediately. Hell it's still the only way to play Shun portable.
